CONCEPTUAL DESIGN
The first essential step in the design process is CONCEPTUAL DESIGN, it sets the tone of a project. Client's input and wish-list along with internal research will drive the design direction. This will inform both the aesthetics and feel of the home moving forward. Space planning, material finishes, textiles, and furniture are all taken into consideration during this stage.

SCHEMATIC DESIGN
SCHEMATIC DESIGN transforms the conceptual ideas to physical form. At this stage, we produce detailed floor plans, interior elevations, spatial renderings, furniture layouts, finished carpentry, lighting placements,  finish options, and custom cabinetry.

DESIGN DEVELOPEMENT
After the major schematic decisions have been approved, we finalize the details through DESIGN DEVELOPMENT. This includes including material specs, paint colors, hardware and correspondence with specialty trades and consultants.

CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTATION
We'll produce a set of detailed interior CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTATION for use by the contractor and/or construction company. This includes plumbing and appliance plans, finished carpentry, custom cabinetry, tile and stone layouts. This effectively communicates our design ideas for seamless execution in the field.
 

CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION     
LUXE HOME DESIGN can serve as the eye and ears during construction so that the project moves in a timely manner. All shop drawings from fabricators are reviewed and marked. Any questions from the contractor regarding construction are answered with clarification drawings, as necessary.
